Flow Precedes Function: A Foundational Principle of RESTORE MILA

One of the foundational ideas behind RESTORE MILA is simple: flow precedes function, and function precedes form. Before asking the body to repair, rebuild, or perform at a higher level, we first consider whether the basic systems responsible for circulation, elimination, fluid movement, digestion, and recovery are being adequately supported.

This matters because more is not always better. Adding supplements, increasing exercise, or aggressively pursuing a "detox" can place additional demands on a body that is already struggling. The first step may instead be improving hydration, bowel regularity, movement, sleep, nutrition, and other fundamentals that support normal physiological clearance.

RESTORE MILA is intentionally sequenced around this principle. Build the foundation first. Support healthy flow and regulation. Then work toward cellular energy, repair, and long-term resilience. Sustainable health is rarely created by forcing the body harder; it is built by creating the conditions in which normal function can occur.
