“Healing begins with understanding the connections.”— Dr. Christopher Thoma The Axis of Healing

The body doesn't function as a collection of separate parts. It functions as an interconnected whole.

This understanding is at the heart of what I call MILA.

MILA provides a framework for recognizing how foundational systems influence one another and why disruptions in one area may create challenges elsewhere.

Think about it this way: when one part of a complex system is under strain, the effects rarely stay confined to that single area.

Our bodies are no different.

This doesn't mean every symptom has the same cause or that one approach works for everyone. It means we need to become more curious about the relationships between our body's systems.

Instead of asking only, "How do we make this symptom go away?" we should also be asking, "What might be contributing to this pattern, and what are we missing?"

That's where a different understanding of health begins.

For years, I've believed that people deserve more than a collection of disconnected answers. They deserve a framework that helps them understand their bodies and ask more informed questions.

That belief inspired me to write The Axis of Healing.

In this book, I explore MILA and the R.E.S.T.O.R.E. approach, offering readers a map for understanding the foundations of health and the importance of looking beyond isolated symptoms.

Healing begins with understanding the connections.

My hope is that this book helps you see your health through a new lens and gives you a starting point for the journey ahead.

The Axis of Healing officially launches November 14, and it's available for preorder today.
